Bottle courtesy of Naven. A nice, drinkable version of the style w/ a slant towards the hops as you would expect from a CA brewery.

Nice tan head immediately jumps up, medium sized, hop aroma wafting about and i,m enjoying this brew outdoors! Head retention is good with a fair amount of lace hanging around. Hazy, copper/orange colored brew. Nose is largely hoppy, somewhat flowery, bits of pine lemon and melon notes abound with a dried grain aroma also. Body is medium, lightly oily with a soft carbonation, glides slickly across yer tongue. A nicely balanced IPA. Good hop flavors, grapefruity, melony with a touch of honey. Good maltiness, medium sweet crystal malts, bready and grainy. Finish is lightly sweet and fruity with a solid hop bite. A damn nice IPA thats sorta under rated IMHO. Thanks to my good friend Cliff(SDbruboy) for this lovely little critter! Thanks much Cliff!

thanks to zeswaft for sharing. i didn’t like or dislike this. i got the citrus hops coming across in both aroma and to a tiny bit even in the flavor.

A pretty mild IPA but typical in its citrus hops. Could probably pass for a pale but more bitter.

22 oz bottle. First whiff and knew it was going to be a great IPA. The aroma of C-hops with a presence of sweet carmel malt. It tasted the same with a nice hop bite that lingers with some fruitiness and floral notes. It poured a golden straw, wtih a bit of chill haze, with little to no head. The carbonation was high with some lacing. This is a great West Coast IPA.

On hand pump at Lanesplitter in Oakland. West coast IPA, lots of "C" American hops in here, but not overbearing. Well balanced. A bit of caramel sweetness, but not too much. A little dark in color for an IPA, but I don’t mind that at all. Nice and cloudy, in the good sort of way. A great IPA!

22 oz bottle from Bevmo: Pours a nice dark golden almost amber color. Not much head, but lots of lacing. Smells very hoppy.....looks good. Pretty much a standard, solid west coast IPA. On a side note, I grew up 10 miles south of GIlroy and so this beer has a special place in my heart. The fact that the town of Gilroy is putting out quality beers puts a tear in my eye. Anyway, good stuff. Cheers to the Central coast!

Bottle: Pellucid auburn, thick sticky head, light lacing. Nose of resinous hops and light caramels. The flavor is sweet and chewy, light hoppy candy, smooth and balanced, light dry hops. Finishes a bit vegetal. An overall well built California style IPA with a focus on the floralness. Pleasing.
