(Bottle 65 cl) Clear, amber golden with a dense, off-white head leaving some laces. Fresh, citrusy nose. Medium body, lightly sweet caramel notes. The finish is dry and hoppy but the general impression is that this is smooth and accessible. Sometimes less is more - this is no huge IIPA - just a lovely balanced brew. 160607

22oz bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). Poured a dark orange color with and averaged sized off white head. Stronger initial floral aroma that gave way to pine and citrus. Tastes of grapefruit, oranges, pine and caramel. Not overly bitter with a nice malty balance. Some lacing left on the glass.

Clear deep amber colour with an off white head. Hoppy, piney and fruity aroma on a light malty sweet background. Piney and quite bitter flavor with a light malty sweet note. Dry hoppy and light floral finish.

Pours mahogany with a thin tan head. Smells of resin, caramel, peppery, earthy. Tastes resiny and sticky with some sweet hints and a bitter, peppery finish.

Clear amber and thick, this sports a fluffy off-white head that lingers and laces. It’s got a nice floral and citrius aroma neatly blended with a buttery caramel. Also a hint of dish soap that, alas, finds its way into the flavor as well. Thick mouthfeel. The flavor is built on a solid, sweet caramel malt backbone, supporting some serious hop bitterness. And dish soap. Nice prolonged bitterness in the finish. Good. And clean.

Lightly hazed dark amber color with a taller, stable, beige head and decent lace. Dichotomy of orange-aid aromas, with a mix of fresh squeezed orange juice and fake candi orange flavors. Cream and fresh cut lawn scent also in the mix. A very disjointed nose. Caramel malt and perfumed floral hops flavors. Just can not get past all the floral and seemingly artificial citric flavors. Part perfume, part beer, part floor cleaner.
