| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 23, 2006 Aroma has a strong DMS or corn like/vegetal character. This can also be found in the flavor profile. Has some lemon and melon flavors but dominated bvy a strong unappealing hay-like wheatiness. Also has a strong maltiness that I find to be very inappropriate to the style. Hop flavor is low but dirty and corse, and leaves a bad finish in your mouth. MartinT (5068), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2006 Any first impressions?
-A veil of foam straddles the cloudy straw yellow.
-Doughy yeast is self-important in the aroma, shielding the green pepper water.
-Cereal sweetness and citrusy wheat walk close by, but aren’t sure if they’ll together for very long.
-Carbonation is appropriate for the style, but the mushy mouthfeel isn’t very appealing to me.
What if you dig deeper?
-Dry hop bitterness and yeast rise in the finish.
-The herbal spiciness of coriander is unpolished.
-All in all, this feels like a cross between a bulky witbier and a yeasty, heavily-spiced ale.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 11, 2006 Light bright yet cloudy golden pour producing a pretty and delicate white head. A darker witbier. Strongly yeasty perfume hints at flowers and exotic fruits (pineapple and banana namely). A bit overdone with the coriander in the nose, while uneffective leafy hops fail to reduce the sweetness apparency. An honest attempt that remains restrained and a bit underattenuated to my tastes, bordering a maltier, thicker witbier of strong yeast influence though you may argue that the carbonation is dynamic enough if the bubbles might be a bit smaller than my favourite saisons’. Tons of fruit, lots of berries. Actually, a bit too much. Complex flavor. Not bad. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 11, 2006 A lemon and corn aroma. I dont want corn aromas in my saison por favor. The flavor is really sweet and not complex in the least. Some lemons, corn, hay, and bananas. It was rather thin also. This just wasnt good. weeare138 (936), Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA

Appears a transparent, light, piss toned gold with a small white head that fades into a mild collar.
Smell is of funk, lemon, cloves, light banana, mild wax-pack bubblegum, and yeast.
Taste is a slight drop off from the aromas but basically the same.
Mouthfeel is mildly sweet, light bodied, with a yeasty finish.
