Medium copper colored body with a very thin light khaki head. Sharp orange citrus notes dominate the nose with earthy musk following up behind. some toast with peanut butter is also present. Light grapefruit is mixed in with cardboard and a little bit of black pepper spice. There is also walnut after drinking for a while. Decent and on the malty end of things.

This beer poured a hazey orange body with a small white head. It had aromas of citrusy fruit, fresh hops and soft pine. Taste was astringent, hoppy and piney. It was a nice beer. Suited my palate well.

12oz bottle, brewed by "Farmhouse brewing". Orangy copper with a slight chill haze and a two-inch head. Plenty of ripped sheets of clingy lacework for the duration. Aromatics are pretty much straightforward stale malt, with a touch of honey, gypsum, and stale hop pellets. Light caramel drizzeled on a wet paper bag. Medium bodied and carbonation is decent. Wet cardboard, stale malt, and drying bitterness lead off the pallet. Some faint, astringent citrus pith and minerally graininess. Finishes..Well, let’s not say quick enough. Once again, no bottle date can be found, but this beer tastes like it’s two-years old and abused. And to think I picked it up just two weeks ago at the Foodery in Philadelphia for just over $3.00. Ech.

hazy copper, frothy off white head, bits of lace, dry crystal malt aroma with soapy hops, dry earthy flavor, touch of caramel sweetness, lots of earthy hops, lasting bitter finish bordering on astrengency,

Amber color with a moderate cream colored head. Caramel aromas with hints of weedy, old hops. Lightly toasted malt with dry caramel in the front. Middle is full of woody hops. A sweet sour sauce in the finish. Late in the finish, there are hints of malt again that are welcome, but just too much "unclean" hops and dirt flavors. No reason to think that this is not a fresh bottle. My sediments are the same as Pitonkas on this one.

22 oz. bottle from BevMo (Mission Valley) - Pours a hazy amber color with a half finger thick off white head. Very light spotty lacing. Aroma is floral and light soap. Flavor is sweet malt and light fruity esters. Light to medium body. Worth a try.

Bottle: Pale amber, fairly clear, large foamy off-white head, decent lacing.   Unfortunately the nose yields some cardboard, wet sock, and some overcooked vegetable like aromas.   Not terribly strong, but certainly there.   Has a bit of a musty basement twang as well.   Flavor isn’t as bad as the nose might suggest, a bit more of a floral and herbal flavor.   Light hop presense, even lighter malts.   Body and mouthfeel are average.   Doesn’t seem hopped enough for a pale.   A very light Pale maybe.   Does have a bit too much vegetable on the finish.   Possible old bottle?   Their Robust Porter was certainly good, and I got this from the same store.   May need to rerate in the future as this one may be over the hill.
