22. Thanks, Foolish_Mortal! Pours cloudy medium brown with sparkling garnet highlights. Thinnish fizzy tan head that falls to film. Huge explosive sweet brown bread on the nose, along with cinnamon, caramel, and a generic sandwich-bread-y yeastiness. Medium body, slightly fizzy attack, nougaty flavors. Very gooey and candy-bar-like mid-palate. Not much finish.

Aroma of sweet, perhaps lightly smoky, malt. Reddish amber color with a beige head that filmed rapidly. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated. Starts toasted caramelly sweet. Stays that way. MIght be dark fruit contributing to the sweetness. Some bitter arises, and I think there is smoke tagging along. Mostly it is a big malty ale with enough bitter to notice. Finish is more sweet than dry.

22oz bomber purchased at Bevmo. shared with some friends. Pours amber with a tan ring. Sweet malty aroma. The taste is big and malty and sweet but dies a bit quick. I’d put this more in the scottish ale category.
