Okay, so it's not the best Pale Ale I've ever had but it's definitely one I enjoyed. I think that because it's name has "Low Carb" in it, it gives off a negative connotation. However, I found it to be very smooth with great clairty/color. Pleasant aroma as well. I'd definitely have it again. By the way, for those Atkins followers, the carb count on this one is 5.4 per 12oz.

This beer didn't even come close to what I was expecting. I haven't tried any other low carb beers, so I was hoping this would be decent. My hopes were dashed. It is a liquidy amber color with a very faint smell of cereal, and the taste is like eating some shredded wheat with a little water. Blech!!

Medium amber, very fizzy. Vague hop aroma, with ahint of cereal. Flavor is thin, watery, with dirty hop notes. Ashy flavors even. Also more off cereal flavors. Nice of them to try, but yecch!

Pours crystal clear amber with a foamy white head. The nose has malt & some citrus in the background. Finishes pretty cleanly. Compared to other light or low carb beers, this is pretty good; compared to a good pale ale fm a micro, it's not there

I really wanted to like this. Really I did. Admittedly I didn't have a whole lot of promise, but I hoped it'd be good. Pours a darker brown than I was expecting, but the head was "fizzly" and didn't last long at all and left very little lace. It almost reminded me of a ginger-ale without the extra carbonation. Aroma is really bad. Its got an almost aluminum/metalic scent to it mixed with the malt. This is the worst part of the beer, though. So, once you get past the smell... Taste is weak, but it does have the faint characteristics of a Pale Ale, however weak. There's a definate hop presence and if I try hard enough I can taste/imagine some malt. Palate is, well, watery with high carbonation and a not-so-pleasant aftertaste (nothing bad, but there). Overall I've got to say that if you're desperate to cut carbs while still drinking beer, this is about as good as its going to get for the time being. I'm a beer geek so maybe I'm a bit harsh on it, but I'd still rather have this than a Bud, and certainly over a Mic Ultra. The only reason this is getting a low score is that I'm comparing it to a true Pale Ale and not to a macro or light beer, otherwise it would score much higher. Hopefully this beer will encourage other brewers to try and create something better. Please?

It would really be nice if someone could actually pull this concept off, unfortunately I don't really think it's possible. When I took the first few sips I thought I might be able to get through the whole glass, but the aftertaste did me in and I only made it half way.

Bottle. Golden color with a laced white head. A musty lager like aroma with a hint of wheat. Incredibly light body and flavor. I don't think a low-carb beer is worth it.

As far as low carb beers go, this may be the best of them, but for real ale drinkers... this is crap. I did have to dump it, but it is still far better than any low carb beer out there
