Nothing to offend here, but nothing to write home about either. An average crispy golden lager. Decent froth.

Purchased at the LCBO, bright golden color, with a fluffy white head, fresh wet cut hay nose, with a grainy pale malt aroma follows through on a light-bodied palate with a crisp light honeyed pale malt character, with a mild flowery hop grassiness, leading towards a malty, lingering hop bitterness finish.

Had this at Tandoor Indian in Chapel Hill in the guise of Krait Beer (India Export Version). Pours like a typical pale lager (gold with high carbonation) but the small head does not disappear so quickly to my surprise. Aroma is grainy, some grassy hops, and corn. Taste is watery but refreshing and smooth. Finish is metallic and unpleasant. You can tell this is pretty much made from rice. Good with spicy food though. Overall, nothing that bad but nothing great either.

Gold colour with off white head. Grainy aroma, wet bar towel aroma. Grainy flavour with a thickish palate. Interesting flavour.

Bottle. Medium-gold. Vague aroma of sugar water, faint whiff of grain… nothing much. Palate is surprisingly gritty, plus a welcome richness. Flavour features a good balance between malt and hop elements, and a nice woody finish. Better than expected and quite refreshing.
