An Indian beer that accompanies a chicken vindaloo or phaal particularlty well. Normally I don’t care what drink to enjoy my curry with as long as I have raging dysentry and rectal bleeding the following morning. It is particularly satisfying to shit out an Indian curry whilst pissing out an Indian beer although the reverse can often apply.

Nov 28, 2009 330 ml bottle treated by a friend( thank God ). Pale yellow color with light see-through foam. Pretty sweet taste but as easygoing as it gets. It tastes like it’s warm even if it’s actually cold! Those who have tasted it know what I mean. As for the others do not waste your money on this one. Better taste it from a friend like I did!!!

Fresh summer beverage, drank the drafted version at the local indian. Still suits the lovely food (2009-04-16) - at the same resturant.

Oct 18, 2009 Bottle. Pale golden colour with a small, and not very staying, white head. Had a grassy aroma and flavor. Also slightly sweet with a faintly bitter finish. Not the worst of these macrolagers but still pretty ordinary.

Aug 8, 2009 660ml bottle at an Indian restaurant in Bristol UK. Clear bright gold in colour with a light floral hop aroma and light sweetcorn malt flavours. Finishes abruptly. Less carbonated than most mainstream lagers with a light to medium body. Refreshing with spicy Indian/Asian food but otherwise instantly forgettable. When faced with the same choice again I’d go for a Tiger lager.

Jul 13, 2009 "The world’s most celebrated lager.." - right off the bottle. yes! this is it! finally! Hey, why does ratebeer say that this is ranked in the 6th percentile for pale lagers? How could we all be so wrong?
Well, poured out a typical clear and solid gold brew with a fizzy white cap that dies soon after. Smells smelllike. Actually, on first smell, this stuff is quite good considering this is a pale. Sweet with malts and a tad bit of corn. Don’t let this warm up! (as if I had to tell you that). The taste was easily a 7 when cold but now, well... I’ve left it too long. Grains mostly and some sweetness, faint corn, ok bitterness. Finishes dry. Better than I thought it would be.
