Aroma of slight phenolics, esters, and slight fruit hop.
Slightly cloudy with meduim head, taste of creamy wheat malt, slightly acidic, high alcohols with a mild/mid bitterness.
A easy drinking filtered wheat beer, lacks classic wheat yeast profile.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 7, 2008 Draught at the Newmarket Cock & Bull, plenty of carbonation and a slight haze to the light gold and a filmy head. A dry and hoppy aroma with a touch of citrus and grass. Very carbonated in the mouth, with a minerally and dryish palate. Sweetish and a little soapy in the not short finish, but not offensive. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 13, 2008 (On tap) First served with a slice of lemon, but I also got a sample without. Clear golden with a tiny white head. Very vague aroma of yeast. Light in body, not really flavours of anything much, perhaps a bit of fruit if you insist. Dry and lightly astringent finish. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Feb 8, 2006 Draught at Cock & Bull, Auckland. Hazy pale yellow, comes with a slice of lemon. Sweetish and bland. The lemon flavour overpowers all that night have been there. Might have some refreshening qualities, but blandness is it’s main feature. From mammary, er memory, the lady behind the bar was of an age that perhaps precluded her from wearing such garb. Yep Chris, that is what my notes say as well. This is not a witbier by any stretch of the imagination. No hint of spiciness nor citrusy back palate. These fillas should be threshed for callin thus a wheat beer, eh? beerledgend (919), Waterloo, Wellington, New Zealand
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 3, 2005 Pale straw colour with no head, claims to be a wheat beer, certainly didn’t taste like one, was nothing like it. Had metalic taste and no palet.
