Commercial Description: A German lager with history spanning deep into the middle ages. Throughout history it has been considered a luxury. Marten Luther received a cask for a wedding present and was known to subsist on it solely during Lent. Deep amber in color, high alcohol content, moderate bitterness and a rich malty flavor.
Smells lightly of honey, dough, and some sugared oatmeal. Taste sweet, some mlat complexity, end clean and sweet, lightly grainy aftertaste, not bad. Balanced and not too alcoholic.
