A rich, rounded, sweet aroma of malt. Roasted amber malt flavor, balanced mostly by the alcohol. Quite sweet, chewy, and interesting. Well balanced, nice beer.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 5, 2008 Deep amber/orange in color with a rocky tan beige head. One of the best looking "premium Lagers" I’ve had, actually. Malty, light earth hops, slightly sweet, and a bit ’o toastedness. Smooth, medium body with nice carbonation. Light toasted malts, caramel, and earth. A rather enjoyable lager; I’m impressed. larsga (2973), Oslo, Norway
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Medium yellowish beige head. Beautiful deep amber body. Sweetish earthy malty aroma with notes of candy, soy sauce, and water. Deep sweet earthy malty taste with caramel notes. Clean, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Traces of syrup. Full-bodied. Dryish-sweet wooden earthy malty aftertaste with roasty alcoholic notes. Some alcohol heat. Very nice. (0.33l bottle from Naito-san.) Theis (3765), Denmark

Roasted, high berries, dried fruits, ryebread, caramel, sweetness, rubber, nutty, candy, fullbodies. Weird Premium Lager – but an ok beer.
