phishpond417 (1418), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 17, 2008 Another foreign swill to check off the old beer passport. Pours a pale yellow colour- head is weak, small and malty. taste is pretty watered down and dissapointing. Skinnyviking (2635), Copenhagen, Denmark Nov 17, 2007 Can. Small but lasting fluffy white head. Clear golden body. Barley malt aroma with an acidic touch plus a twist of lime. Pretty heavily carbonated flavor with fruity notes. Bitterwsweet short aftertaste. nick76 (2038), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 3, 2007 The aroma is spritzer like with corn malt and sugar. The appearance is very pale with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is typical for the style. There is nothing special about this. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA May 16, 2007 From a 12 oz. twist-off bottle with a freshness date and lot number on the back label, sampled at a cooler cellar temperature in a restaurant shaker glass.
Poured a very lightly hazy pale yellowish golden with a small foamy white head that quickly settled into a thin soapy lacing.
Aromas of cereal grains, vegetal corn, and salty mineral.
Good carbonation and a softly crisp, thin, smooth light bodied mouthfeel.
Tastes of cooked corn and veggies with cereal grains, not much in the way of hops, and a clean, dry, sweet corn malty finish.
I guess this could be a passable pale lager on a extremely hot summer day, but I wasn’t too impressed, I have to say though, a good neutral tasting beer to have with the grilled chicken salad I had for lunch today.
faroeviking (4166), Faroese Beer Republic über, Denmark Jan 4, 2007 Actually brewed by the brewery Cervejería Sul Brasileira, which is owned by INAB. Can bought in the middle of nowhere in the desert of central Paraguay. Thin yellow colour, weak grainy aroma. Waterish grainy flavour. In lack of beer it actually was drinkable.
