| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 7, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy dark brown with little highlights. There is less than average beige head that lacks retention but has sufficient lacing. The aroma is some banana and clove with a little Belgian nod. Flavor is nice, the banana and clove flavors are not too over the top and overpowering. They balance nicely with the almost chocolate flavor from the dark malts. Not a bad dunkleweizen at all. Worth a shot. undsioux7 (561), Cologne, Minnesota, USA
