The wheat and barley is brewed using a temperature controlled step mash. In doing this we utilize the proteins and enzymes necessary to convert sugars for fermentation.

Pours a slightly cloudy, yellow with no head. Decent carbonation. You can definitely smell the almond. Crisp tasting brew with a slight hint of honey in the finish. Not too shabby.

Tasted at GABF 2008. Yellow pour with no head. Almond nose with honey as well. Flavor is the same. Tasty beer in my opinion.

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow/pale golden color with a lack luster head that has minimal retention and little to no lacing. Aroma is mostly wheat with a touch of honey. Flavor is a slight sweet honey with a touch of nuttiness layer on top of a pretty light bodied wheat beer. This isnt bad by any means. On the adverse, its not something that I would trade my kids for. I like the direction Cold Spring is going with this series of beers but they need some more to them.

Wheat with a little sour citrus. Cloudy yellow. It is like honey weiss from Leinenkugels, only considerably better.

Copper color with a medium head. Slight almond aroma and lots of grain. Very watery grain flavor. Little to no wheat.
