| 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Aug 8, 2006 special brew. caramel. fruit reduction aroma. The best floral aroma so far on our Oregon trip. Very sweet, even more bitter. Reminds me of ROGUE I2PA w/ different hop florals. Aroma of new car maybe a KIA, or Dick’s Sporting goods, or new sneakers (chinese sweatshop). But all in a really good way! Oakes (8092), gone rambling, Vietnam
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 5, 2006 On tap @ Clinton St Brewery. Hazy light bronze. Woody, leafy, lightly citrusy hop aroma. Dry, earthy bitterness. Even some anglo hop notes (I swear!). Fairly standard IPA, refreshing, fruity, citrusy, good pale malt balance. CaptAnkeny (14), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Aug 1, 2006 This was my favorite overall at the 2006 Oregon Brewer’s Fest. As an IPA fan, I concentrated mostly on this style.
While very citrusy, it leaves a smooth but pleasant bitter aftertaste.
72 IPU’s, so nice and Hoppy! Close to perfection. slimweebs (139), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 27, 2005 Tap. Slightly hazy, light amber in color. Beautiful half-inch head forms and retains throughout the life of the beer leaving fantastic lacing. Aroma is nicely hopped, quite citric with grapefruit standing out. Medium bodied. Flavor is initially quite sweet and caramelly but quite quickly the hop bitterness comes through for a nice balance leaving the impression of tasting a sugared piece of grapefruit. Very well done. beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 14, 2005 Brian’s double IPA pours a nice deep amber with a tall white head. This was a very balanced brew for the massive hops involved. Sweet caramel malts balance out a very nice floral citrus hop finish. This was poured a bit flat which gave it a lot more of a heavy body, but would have been much more lively with a higher carbonation.
