BeerBunker (45), Burbank, Illinois, USA Aug 24, 2008 This beer will always be in my heart, since it was the first legal beer I ever consumed. Pours gold, with some white fizz. Smells like creamed corn. Tastes like moldy bread and grass. Doesn’t offend the palate too much, so it’s perfect for binge drinking or chillin’ on the street corner with one’s homies. Ah memories. patrick767 (1403), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 24, 2008 24 oz can - Since Billy Dee Williams says this beer works every time, I had to have it for my 1400th rating. Why yes, it sucks, thanks for asking. It smells like a bit of corn and malt. It has a very light flavor that’s mainly the corn and cheap malt. It’s thin, watery, and at least not as horribly offensive as Hurricane. There’s just nothing going on here. arventresca (156), Greenville, North Carolina, USA Aug 24, 2008 24 ouncer poured into bottle. Surprisingly not as bad I would have thought. Inoffensive in any way. Not good though. puboflyons (374), New Hampshire, USA Aug 16, 2008 From the infamous 40 ouncer marked 0901B-D51132. Pours yellow with a lot of fizzy, white head. Lively carbonation. Grassy aroma. Watery texture on the mouth. I notice a little malts in the taste but otherwise it is plain and uninteresting. I actually though I had reviewed this one prior to now. Zbong (38), Lansing, Michigan, USA Aug 14, 2008 Golden yellow. Smells like bad malt and barley. Tastes like corn water thats carbonated. Pretty expensive as far as malt liquor goes. I’d prefer St. Ides or Steel Reserve if I’m going down this road.
