Good drunky brew. Mild taste, no hops apparent, for swilling. Would never drink this for pleasure. Only for party-lube.

This brew is as malty and smooth as Leon Phelps was in The Ladies Man (also a Billy Dee classic). But... Even for the price, you could get a better buzz elsewhere, everytime.

Poured a light yellow with quite a bit of carbonation. Sweet malty flavor with little to no aftertaste. Could have been worse.

Pours light yellow with a small white head. Very sweet aroma. Flavor is similar, a bit too much malt without the ABV to back it up. A bit too much metal flavor as well. Great carbonation, fits perfectly. Slight aftertaste of metal, but not bad.

Well I liked this more than Old English 800 or St. Ides but my god what was I thinking when I was younger! This stuff tastes like fortified mule piss! At least you can get it down though... as long as you don’t stop chugging.

Bottle- Second in a line of a personal colt tasting. This pours sparkling gold with a short lived fizzy white head. The aroma is grassy and there’s faint malts with some hop type character. Tastes pretty mellow. Some sweet malt, grassy, standard hop profile for this type of lager, which is almost non existant. Pretty watery when compared to the 7%.

Not sure it lives up to the "works every time" slogan, but it could’ve been worse, I suppose. Sweet, yellow, corny, watery. Not very good.
