Malt aroma. White head. Golden coloured strong in alcohol and floral with a little dryness and bitterness in a crisp full malt finish. jason69 (24), Canada

I think the taste is pretty dandy.
The spices in it are dangerous, and good.
Its strong, and good to get drunk if you get enough,
Its very cheap. thats what i like most hazer772 (18), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

Reminds me of summers when i was in my teens..far less harsh then the 7% taste wise but still not for everyone, and hell 3 of these in 90 mins got my good and buzzed. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 29, 2006 It’s all about expectations. If you’re going into a 1.18L bottle of Colt45 8% thinking you’re gonna enjoy a nice, refreshing, quiet, "sit at home watching cold case files" drink you’re gonna be let down. If you go into this bottle thinking you’re gonna end up laying down in places people don’t usually lay down in by the end of the night, you’re gonna be pleased. I’m pretty sure every bottle comes with a complimentary rugby-playing troupe of frat boys. Smells like a bad wine. Deep yellow colour, very tiny head, serves no purpose. Taste isn’t bitter at all, very sweet, very malty. The good thing about this beer is that it’s applicable to almost any situation in which you’re looking to get drunk. I’ve sipped this in the dead of an Alberta winter night, -25 celcius, and it was just the same as it always is. The funny thing is this is cheaper than a lot of beers that taste worse than it. The bottle is 2.5 pints of a strong, not all that bad tasting, malt liquor that costs $4.25 Canadian. Cheap drunk, that’s what it’s there for. riversideAK (2745), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 26, 2009 I am assuming this is what i had, but who knows. It was labeled Colt 45 HG and it was 8.5%. Since I don’t want to add another rating I will put it here until further notice. Corny sweet and metallic nose. Can isn’t that cool. It is not sinister looking, it is sleek and silver, and not how I like my malt liquor cans. Light bodied and drinkable at 8.5%, corny and sweet, but not much else. Drinkability is decent. This beer tasted more malty than I expected but I guess thats why they include it in the title. Short head, sweet flowery undertones. Strong alcohol finish. Not as bad as I was anticipating.
