fromred2green (140), , Ohio, USA Jul 22, 2009 Bottle. Pours amber in color with a medium white head. Aroma of apricots, as one would think. Flavor is malty with a hint of apricot. Much better than some of the other fruit beers I’ve tried; this one is like beer with a hint of fruit - not fruit with a hint of beer. Not bad. nuplastikk (1159), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Apr 8, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Filtered, slightly hazy orange color. Not aggressively fruited, the apricot is actually quite well incorporated. A nice sour tangy aftertaste. Easy drinking stuff. Sweet, malty, watery body. Unique. DragonStout (1380), Pataskala, Ohio, USA Sep 12, 2008 On tap at the brewpub.Wow th enose on this was wonderful!Lots of fresh apricots here with a slight hint of sweetness.Pours a golden color with a small white head. This was quite refreshing.Lots of freshness of apricots that wasn’t overpowering. It was crisp and sweet with a slight hoppy finish. dwyerpg (2519), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Aug 13, 2008 Smells like apricots. Flavor is also dominated by apricots, much more than I can drink; way too fruity. estoppel (1028), Buffalo, New York, USA Jul 31, 2008 Draft at brewpub. Amber body, slight apricot nose, smallish white head. Apricot is more assertive in the flavor; base beer is pretty neutral. brentfeesh (1030), Gadsden, Alabama, USA Jun 9, 2008 An 8 year boycott ends. Served in a pint at the CBC. Golden pour with plentiful carbonation. Great aroma! Lots of very noticeable apricot. A light apricot flavor that is slightly sweet with touches of grain. There is no way this is real apricot, but the essence that they use really works well. Medium semi-dry body and mouth feel. Wet finish. Good brew. BuckeyeSammy (454), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Apr 6, 2008 Apricot not too overpowering, more of a golden ale then a fruit beer. Lighly bitter kick on the tail end, good warm weather. Apricot undertones. A little bland. BabyJoe692 (109), Pickerington, Ohio, USA Jan 6, 2008 Draft. A light bodied beer. Fruity aroma. Tastes fruity but not too sweet.
