The brew pours a cloudy walnut with caramel highlights. The firm tan head is creamy, fully lasting and has good lacing. The flavor is one dimensional. I didn't get any caramel sweetness as the commercial description would advertise. Mostly spicy hops bitterness. The medium body is soft and dry. The finish feels very astringent. More than decent, but I was expecting more. I am curious as to the gravity, because this one hit me pretty hard. kathouse (84), Nevada, USA

Thin white head with mild floral hop aroma. Slight caramel, but not really a factor. Good carbonation with a medium body tastes spicy with yeast character. Hops come out in the end with a dry, moderately bitter finish. Dogbrick (2874), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Thin and slow lacing. The aroma is mostly tart hops with a little malt and caramel. Medium-bodied and tangy with a decent hops presence throughout. The flavor has a light floral character as well. The finish is on the dry side with a strong hops flavor along with a little malt sneaking in here and there. This is one of CBC's stronger offerings and I hope they bring it back sometime.
