Commercial Description:
Our IPA pours a slightly hazy, pale orange with a balanced malt flavor and finishes with a wonderful flavor and aroma only American hops can provide. This beer is served unfiltered to retain all the bouquet from the hops.

Pours copper with a decent white head. Smells of citrus, perfumy, crisp, dry malt. Tastes of earth, grassy, wildflowers, citrussy, bitter finish.

Draft at brewpub. Hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate spruce sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet bitter flavor with a medium balanced bitter finish of long duration.

Draft at the brewpub. Dark copper with a very, very musty and mossy metallic sting. Heavily hopped and oily, big-time. wow.

12oz bonus probs a way back. Orange pour, tan head. Nose is hoppy, and ok. Taste is sweet with tons of resin and an interesting citrus biter. interesting

DrHomolka rocks! Pourss an orangish color with a small white head. Aroma is full of white grapefruit, some malt and pine hops notes. Flavor is really, really good. Citrus and resin hops flourish in this beer without being overly bitter and harsh. There is a decent malt bill but the hops are the star in this one. Nice.

Cask version at Barley’s 5th Annual Mini RAF (04/28/07): This brew is a clear dark amber color with a compact bone white head and spotty lacing. Citrusy hops aroma. Medium body with hops, pine and citrus flavors. Touches of malt here and there too. The finish is hoppy and lingers awhile, and allows some roasted malt flavor to poke through. Pretty good overall.

In short: A bitter fruit-salad. Tasty IPA. Good stuff.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Partly cloudy dark orange body with a small white head
In long: Very aromatic and very tasty. Garden flower and strawberries on the nose. Taste is like a freshly squeezed orange over a fruit salad with some strawberries thrown in for good measure. Short but sharp and strong bitterness. As my pint warmed some pine-cone juice was coming out. Malt profile could have used some oomph! but overall this is a superior and different IPA and in the USA standing out from crowd is pretty hard when you’re an IPA or a fat-ass.

Lightly foggy, misty light orange-brown. FLuffy, ivory head. Super fruity hop aroma - pine, pineapple, ripe grapefruit. Medium heavy, crisp, green stonefruit and strong west coast hops. Chemical in the high palate. Dry. Brisk, hoppy CO2 finish. Hopheads will dig it.
