Yellow, no head. So it looked OK. Smells like butter and honey, which may sound appealling, but not when applied to beer. Taste is is...um...how can a beer be both sour an buttery? So, so many things wrong here. This was the first beer of the Knoxville tasting, so we’re kinda establishing a baseline here. No where to go but up.

Very large white head of varying sized bubbles. Very good carbonation. Light dry aroma of cardboard, pepper and some light grassy hops. Color is a medium golden orange. Flavro is sharp and spicy with a little bitterness. More spicy hops. Finish is dry and astringent. An ok brew.

Pours as a very clear dark yellow with a fleeting, thin, white head. A bit of butterscotch is the only detectable aroma (or flavor) that I got. A bit of astringency becomes the finish of this watery, thin brew.

This is a diacetyl bomb. Pale gold, good head. The aroma and flavor are little more than diacetyl.

Pours a clear faint copper, thin head. Ligth-bodied, flavor was biscuits and honey with grassy hops. Not very complex, but I found this refreshing and enjoyable.

Pretty much just a standard crisp American Wheat beer. Unexciting but rather drinkable. I failed to taste any outstanding flavors.

Draft 4 oz sample at the brewpub, 10/23/06: Golden with a big white head. Musty aroma. Very biscuity, yet smooth with a bit of a bitter finish. Not bad, not great.

Clear. Unusual for a wheat beer. Almost no wheat flavor, perhaps a straw/hay taste. A lot of honey in this beer.
