Smells like butter and honey, which may sound appealling, but not when applied to beer. Taste is is...um...how can a beer be both sour an buttery? So, so many things wrong here. This was the first beer of the Knoxville tasting, so we’re kinda establishing a baseline here. No where to go but up. Dorwart (1820), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 1, 2007 Very large white head of varying sized bubbles. Very good carbonation. Light dry aroma of cardboard, pepper and some light grassy hops. Color is a medium golden orange. Flavro is sharp and spicy with a little bitterness. More spicy hops. Finish is dry and astringent. An ok brew. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 30, 2007 Pours as a very clear dark yellow with a fleeting, thin, white head.
A bit of butterscotch is the only detectable aroma (or flavor) that I got.
A bit of astringency becomes the finish of this watery, thin brew.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 27, 2007 This is a diacetyl bomb. Pale gold, good head. The aroma and flavor are little more than diacetyl. PattyBoy (302), North Liberty, Iowa, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 16, 2007 Pours a clear faint copper, thin head. Ligth-bodied, flavor was biscuits and honey with grassy hops. Not very complex, but I found this refreshing and enjoyable. Wakie (612), Centreville, Virginia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 17, 2006 Pretty much just a standard crisp American Wheat beer. Unexciting but rather drinkable. I failed to taste any outstanding flavors. Braudog (3770), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 26, 2006 Draft 4 oz sample at the brewpub, 10/23/06: Golden with a big white head. Musty aroma. Very biscuity, yet smooth with a bit of a bitter finish. Not bad, not great. dkoonce (885), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 9, 2006 Clear. Unusual for a wheat beer. Almost no wheat flavor, perhaps a straw/hay taste. A lot of honey in this beer.
