| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Aug 15, 2006 I sampled a new 12 oz bottle compliments of my Beer of the Week buddy. Before I wrote this I swear to you that I sniffed this brew probably 10 different times in an effort to see if my "sniffer" was deceiving me. I even poured it into a different beer mug. My nose wasn’t wrong. The aroma is specific and distinct. It smells like dried cat urine on a sofa or other upolstery. No lie. Needless to say, I could barely get past that smell in order to finish the beer. For the record, I don’t own a cat. But as far as I’m concerned, cat piss is the worst smell on the planet! The ale poured pale golden with decent fiz. The white bubbly head disipated quickly. Decent lacing was noticible as I "did my duty" and finished the beer. Palate-wise, it was watery mouthfeel with slight carbonation. This watery ale left a slimy texture on my tongue and an aftertaste smell that reminded me of the last couple of stale squirts of beer that you’d milk out of a bud light keg before retuning it for your deposit. I’ll have to pass on this one guys. blkitson (137), Westerville, Ohio, USA

I was looking for that faint smell or flavor oh honey but it never sufaced. Surprising quite a good beer OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Aroma of honey, grains, light lemon, and a touch of yeast. Very similar flavors. Lots of yeast, honey, grain, and light grassy hops on the finish. Medium bodied and quite drinkable. donvitozou (141), memphis, Tennessee, USA
