Crisp flavors, more hoppy citrus. Sweet malt flavors are a bit plain for me, (maybe its the specially kilned crystal), but this still remains a decent, drinkable beer. | 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Sep 23, 2007 Had this beer on 1/22/2006. This thing sucks, I open the bottle and it goes all over. I tried to pour it and it foamed up over the glass and just kept coming out of the top of the bottle. Color is a pale brown. Carbonation is not as high as you would think with the way it foamed up all over the place and the head dropped down to nothing. Aroma is a bit sour. Taste is light and tinny. Starting with a light body it goes down crisp. Finish comes on with a sweet caramel like taste and a sharp bitterness. It reminds me of a home brew that went bad. Overall its just bad, this is just one of the worst beers I have had. bryandhargrave (165), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 21, 2007 On tap at the Columbus airport. Clear amber beer with slightly tan head. The body is medium with lively carbonation. I thought this was only a moderately hopped pale ale. Citrusy, and somewhat piney. Dry finish. A nice crisp beer. frankenkitty (1902), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 16, 2007 Mid-amber with a small white head leaving light sheets of wet lace. Orange & dry tea notes (instant tea) in the nose, rye & more bittering late. Pleasant, bitter hopped flavor, light pepper & citrics before a sweetly citric finish. As per the menu, this one has a, "log, dry finish." Nice.
Note: Yes... the menu said, "log".

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 5, 2007 Gentle hoppy nose. Clear orange amber in color with a decent white head. Sweet hoppy flavor with a little bitter aftertaste. Finishes dry. A slight warm, frothy mouth feel. A pleasant pale ale. Not outstanding, but not uneventful either.
