The bouquet is of pale malt, stale white bread and lemon peel. Full-bodied with laid-back carbonation. The flavor is of biscuit malt and earthy hops. Mojave-dry finish. Thanks to DragonStout for the bottle! Tmoney99 (4740), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured hazy orange color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium tart hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium grainy sweet flavor with a medium bitterswwet finish of moderate duration.
Above average beer. SledgeJr (2960), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Mild malty and grainy aroma with a delightfully sweet and yeasty flavor. Stronger level of hops than many kellerbiers, but it works with the larger malt sweetness. Pretty good. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 14, 2009 On draught at Bodega. This brew pours a lightly hazy yellow-orange color with a medium thin and creamy light beige head that diminishes slowly. Thin sheet of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of sweet malt and spiced hops. Light body with flavors of grassy hops and bready malt, along with underlying spices. The finish is fruity and hoppy with a mildly bitter aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 16, 2009 7/13/2009: Columbus Summer Teeth reminds me of a lame English Bitter. It is hazy gold in color with a thin white head. The beer almost seems minty with some lite buttery maltiness along with a bite in the finish. Is is medium-light in body and very soft on the palate. Not horrible, but not that good. I had to pass on a having a pint and instead have a pint of Columbus IPA. Overall this is the most disappointing beer that I had during my time at OBW.
Sample (draught) at Buffalo Wild Wings in Athens, Ohio during Ohio Brew Week 2009. Rating #6 for this beer.

I found this a very refreshing brew, almost a more clean and spicy version of the yeasty, sedimental Kellerbier I’m more familiar with. Maybe a cross with a pils if that makes any sense. Hazy pale gold, nice carbonation, medium mouthfeel. Nothing world-beating about this beer, but I enjoyed it. BuckeyeBoy (1669), Boise, Idaho, USA
