Columbus Brewing Meigs Gold

Malt liquory, coldwater aroma. Clear gold, fluffy head fades to a thin film that clings to the glass. Medium to medium heavy German hopping, slightly seedy tasting. Cereal and lingering hop finish. Not sweet. Would pass for a pils or a crisp kolsch.

On draught at the brewpub. This beer is a clear golden color with tiny rising bubbles and a thin ivory white head that fizzes away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Light, clean body with mildly bitter hops flavor, along with touches of malt and honey. Traces of fruit as well. The finish is lightly bitter with a lingering grassy hops and pale malt aftertaste. Decent summer brew all around.

Draft at brewpub. Poured a hazy golden color with a moderate fizzy white head that was lasting with good lacing. Medium our citrus hop aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with a balanced finish of moderate duration.
