Commercial Description:
Announcing our new seasonal brew...Kolsch! Brewmaster Ben Pridgeon’s choice for the seasonal brew is Kolsch, a German ale that’s flame-colored! Kolsch has a flowery aroma, balanced malt flavor and hop bitterness. It has a sweet profile, followed by a wonderful Hallertauer hop finish. Stop in and try it soon.

Had this on tap a few weeks ago at the Cap City Diner in Cowlumbus. Pours a light golden with a thin white tap head that was mostly diminishing and had fair lacing. The nose is very subtle with a hint of wheat. The refreshing flavor is light with a moderate citrus acidity and a heavy toasted finish. The light and creamy body is very lively with a nice biting and crisp finish.

Very light fresh water and light citrus aroma. Medium-light gold. A bit tangy, with building hops. Medium body. Clean, crisp finish with a final hop zing. Good CO2. Fair enough summer beer.

On draught at the CBC. Pours a golden color with some bubbles. Medium white head that slowly disappeared and quick lacing. The aroma is fairly hopped with a touch of sweetness. Light-bodied and effervescent with a nicely bitter character from start to finish. Light malt backbone as well. Not really a complex beer in any sense but it is a nicely light and drinkable brew.
