Full-bodied with laid-back carbonation. The flavor is of biscuit malt and earthy hops. Mojave-dry finish. Thanks to DragonStout for the bottle! JCB (1716), Durham, North Carolina, USA Aug 26, 2009 12oz bottle from BeerVirgin72 - thanks, Dawn! I found this a very refreshing brew, almost a more clean and spicy version of the yeasty, sedimental Kellerbier I’m more familiar with. Maybe a cross with a pils if that makes any sense. Hazy pale gold, nice carbonation, medium mouthfeel. Nothing world-beating about this beer, but I enjoyed it. BuckeyeBoy (1645), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 22, 2009 Bottle Pours out a cloudy straw topped with a foam white head. Aroma of light lemon zest and some sour notes. Taste a little of the citrus along with a little wheat. pinkzambia (986), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 22, 2009 Bottle: Pale gold with a fizzy white head. Sour grain aroma with a mellow taste. Not awful. Drinkable. Thanks BuckeyeBoy! IndianaRed (1553), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 22, 2009 Bottle pours a hazy dingy pale yellow Spicy sweet lemony aroma. Slightly skunky lemony light grain flavor. Very high carbonation and a soft wheaty after taste with a surprisingly bitter trailer.
JoeMurphy (30), Ohio, USA Aug 13, 2009 A pleasant enough lager, smoky taste of crisp bittering hops, just enough body for a summer beer that doesn’t go all the way to lawnmowerland. They say it’s unfiltered, but you could read the newspaper through the bottle I poured... a difference between bottle and tap, perhaps? 1010 (206), Marysville, Ohio, USA Jul 27, 2009 Pours a light golden color with a nice white head. Very fuity smell. Taste crisp, but not much to it.
