22 ounce bottle purchased from the Davis Food Co-Op. Holy shit, this smells like pepperoni pizza. Perhaps a little herbal basil is also there in the nose. Definitely pepperoni. Moderately hazy yellow body with a medium-small white head with pretty crappy lacing. Highly carbonated, highly spicy, peppery, herbal flavors to start. A bit lemony and metallic in the middle. Finish has some more of those herbal pepperoni flavors. Pretty hopped up in the end. Not sure I care for this.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of chemicals (household cleaning products), orange/lemon zest, spruce/juniper. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. The spices yield a chemical-like odor that is not very pleasant. Could be worse, but it’s difficult to enjoy.

Light lemon and nutmeg in the aroma. lightly hazy yellow color with lots of carbonation and a large white head. Flowery taste in the beginning fading to a light malt finish.

22 oz bottle from Wine King in Wall. Pours a thin hazy light straw color with a large but quickly receding bubbly fizzy head. The thin body combined with hazy pale straw color makes this one look like a cross between dish water and stale beer. Aroma starts off with a combination of wet hay, earth and lemon juice. As the aroma develops spices begin to emerge, anise and mint over some grains.Palate is overly forced carbonation on top a watery body and leaves no aftertaste, which in this case is probably a good thing. Flavor is really lacking especially after all those....ahem...."interesting" aromas. What there is to taste is some weak boring cereal grains and a slight lemon aftertaste. I wasn’t expecting much from this beer but definitely more then this.

Bomber: Interesting beer. It pours a hazy, almost cloudy yellow body with a bubbly head. The aroma is kind of like spicy Christmas cookie dough spiked with gin and imbued with dirty pine needles. It’s "lager-ness" is almost lost under the heavy spicing - add anise, mint, and clove to the mix - and it develops an aspirin-like bitterness at the midpoint that lingers into the dry finish. Interesting.

A 22 oz bottle with a cool label. the beer pours a slighty cloudy gold with a monster white crisp head. The smell is malt with some spices that i cant place. The taste is smooth with a nice hops and mint flavor. Good carbonation.
