Thought from the name it may be a witbier, it labels itself as a Spice/herb beer, but I just tasted what seemed to resemble an offshoot from a BMC....a lot of grain, little aroma or taste, and a short, non-memorable finish.
Cute label though BVery (464), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA

dak nailed it... smells like kaffir... mixed with ginger, lemon and eucalyptus.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 6, 2009 Tap at papagos. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of Ginger, lemongrass and kaffir lime. Flavor is odd. Lots if Ginger and lemongrass. Not enjoyable. roder60 (1020), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 1, 2009 Someone brought this to my work’s monthly beer club meeting and it was unanimously agreed upon to be one of the least favorite beers tried. Pours a slightly hazy light yellow color with a huge amount of bubbly white head. Aroma is doughy with some slight lemon essence and cloves. Flavor is decently light, with a sticky sweet base and lots of doughiness and overload of spices. Overall, not my favorite. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Bottle. Large fizzy white head with good retention, hazy light yellow body, spotty amounts of lacing, and fizzy, fast rising carbonation. The aroma was spicy, fruity, lightly malty, and earthy notes. The flavor was fruity, spicy, earthy and a dry finish. The mouthfeel was smooth and this is a light-medium bodied beer. An easy to drink beer, but not one I will drink again because I did not truly care for the flavor. bobaidan (361), Farmington, Connecticut, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 17, 2009 Pours light yellow with a huge head filling 90% of the glass. Aroma is odd with a lot of spice. Mouth feel is thin, but has a lot of carbonation. Flavor is sweet with a lot of spices I can’t quite identify. Unique and quite tasty.
