Sep 27, 2008 Cloudy yellow-gold pour with a huge and lasting white head. Nice spicy aroma with some light citrus. Peppery, spicy flavor with some ginger, lemon and maybe some clove. Medium bodied, good carbonation, creamy mouthfeel. Spicy finish. Pretty unique and tasty!

Sep 22, 2008 Pours light yellow with a HUGE fluffy head. Aroma is pleasantly spicy and grainy. Moderate mouthfeel with Pleasantly spicy and mildly belgian-like. Rather sweet flavored. Thin mouth feel. Flavor is dry and mildly citrusy.

Sep 21, 2008 Bomber from the Pizza Port Bottle Shop. Shared with my girlfirend Cyn. Pours gold with a big bright white head. Nose is quite spiced. Taste is sweet and mellow with an interesting strange feel. Overall Tasty.

Sep 16, 2008 Pours a hazed creamy yellow color with a tall lasting head. Crazy spicy aromas with biscuits. Full nectar with good carbonation. A full malt backbone with a highly spiced disposition. This thing is SPICY, almost too much. The finish lingers with perfumed SPICE and moderate bittering.

Sep 14, 2008 Bottle. Aroma quite spicy...cinnamon? basil? licorice? so hard to say, but spicy regardless. Flavor lightly fruity (citrus incl. lemon particularly) with a certain mintiness, perhaps some nutmeg. Never would have guessed it was a lager, but I guess that’s why we’ve decided it’s a spice/herb/vegetable. Odd but not bad.

Sep 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy light yellow with a bubbly, foamy white head. Aroma of licorice, candy gumdrops, orange and lemon fruits. Quite sweet. Hmm, this really tastes like licorice (or Twizzlers) and gumdrops with a slight hint of mint. Lots of cherry, lemon, orange sugary notes. Very sugary and sweet. Interesting beer and certainly not what comes to mind when I see that it’s a spice/herb/vegetable! Fairly drinkable and decent though.

Sep 13, 2008 Pours a murky light sunburst yellow/orange with a small creamy white froth on top. Strong citrus aroma, peaches, huge lemon with some orange, lots of ginger and some coriander. Flavor of pepper, orange, coriander, ginger, clove, licorice... yeah white pepper is a good descriptor. I like it, its different. Good body for a wheat, medium/light and very crisp. This is a fall beer for sure... spicy... a lighter alternative to pumpkin brews. I like this beer... unique.
