| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 30, 2008 Bottle: Pale yellow pour with a pillow-like white head. Light citrus, orange zest, wheat malts, banana and a very strong spice tone that I can’t make out. Crisp body with lively carbonation...flavors consist of belgian yeast, bubblegum and an almost mint-like herbally backdrop. Very strange brew but good at the same time. riversideAK (2792), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 29, 2008 Bottle. Aroma is very complex with corriander, ginger, lemon, fruity clove and banana, and some spices which could not be named. The ginger and lemon, to me were the most dominant aspects of the brew. It poured a light yellowish with a huge head. The beer also gushed a bit, but it settled quickly. Flavors of corriander, spice, lemon, and a ton of ginger. Soft yet complex, it finishes rather clean and light with a good bit of lingering ginger cleanliness on the palate. unclemattie (2439), Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 28, 2008 22oz bottle. Hazy and bright yellow. Pure-white foamy head. Herbal, spice aroma. Ginger, clove, mint, sleepytime tea. Kinda reminds me of the hugest spool of cotton candy. Flavor is of lemon, lavendar and some corriander. Very herbal. Nice full malt character. Mellow carbonation. Light bodied, full flavored. Surprizingly good. Overall, an overly spiced/herbal Belgian Wit. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 27, 2008 Bomber. Pours cloudy gold with a thick and falling white head. Aroma of ginger/lemon spice, fruit. Body on the light side, powerful carbonation. Ginger lemon taste. Not too bad overall, but the finish is a little soapy. It would likely be a lot better served very cold on a hot day, rather than just cool on a rainy day. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 27, 2008 Slightly hazy light gold body with a large bright white head on top. A strongly herbal nose is the main initial impression. Something like oregano and fresh baked bread. The taste has lots of herbs, basil like, almost. There is a litle bit of bread dough, but the herbs dominate the overal package. A decent brew, but boring more than anything. jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Aroma - Huge spiciness, coriander and something like anise or fennel, hints of lemon, floral notes, and some light honey
Appearance - Faintly hazy yellow, that with an explosive white head, cecent lace, and erupting columns of fine bubbles, the kind of head seen with a German hefeweizen
Flavor - Sweet and flowery, distant acidity, with an ill defined soft bitterness offers some balance, but the flavor is off putting to me.
Palate - Light body, very lively effervescence, clean palate, and a certain spicy zestiness
Overall - The spices were just too overpowering for my liking, no subtlety.
