Very pale colored pour, which went along perfectly with the albino python shown on the label. The carbonation was huge, and the head very large as a result. The smell was that of banana and lavender. The taste was fluffy, and a bit too much like flower petals. The carbonation was quite active, and made the beer feel like cotton candy in the mouth. There was not much to this little beer. Next time they should try to get a giant python and not a pygmy one.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. No head whatsoever. Mild spice aromas. Crisp, smooth and full with coriander and citrus. Similar to an imperial wit.

650 ml. Slight fog on the pale golden brew with a small, sudsy and lasting head. Spicy evergreen, peppery orange zest and honey aroma. Tastes of lemon-honey, some peppery ginger, and rosemary/spruce resin. Light-bodied, way too frothy with carbonation, and a spicy-dry finish. The spices are nicely done; tastes similar to the Weihenstephaner Grut Bier, but not so over-the-top with the evergreen-herbal flavors. If this one weren’t so fizzy it would get a couple more tenths on points.

Bomber. Hazy straw yellow with a big white head. Good carbonation. Orange and light coriander nose, some dust. Dry citrus zest flavors, coriander and a shade of dough. Light body, bouncy carbonation. Decent drinkability, somewhat overdone on the spicing, but not bad.

Pours hazy yellow / blond with a foamy white head. The aroma has coriander, lemon zest, fennel, clean light malt and a touch of hops - very clean. Medium / light body that is grainy and crisp and has a lot of sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with various spices, pale malt, citrus, creaminess and is quite thick on the flavor. The finish has a lot of fennel and spicy hops. This looks, smells and taste more like an ale than a lager. An enjoyable brew from the Coney Island lineup.

Bottle and served in my Hoegaarden tumbler: Slightly hazy golden hue with a fizzy head and minimal lace. The aroma has notes of wheat and pale malts, coriander, lemon zest, white pepper, ginger, basil (and perhaps pepperoni?) and a dusty yeast vapour, sort of weak. Speaking of weak, so is the taste profile, moderately spicy but little citric zing, not quite refreshing enough for a what I hoped. There is a layer of yeast and wheat throughout. The finish displays a almost pizza like basil and spice aftertaste which I thought wierd. As it warmed the spices even became a bit muddled. The mouth feel is carbonated and thin, again missing the lively refreshment I had hoped for when I opened the bottle. Not a horrible brew but just so pedestrian.
