| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 1, 2009 Someone brought this to my work’s monthly beer club meeting and it was unanimously agreed upon to be one of the least favorite beers tried. Pours a slightly hazy light yellow color with a huge amount of bubbly white head. Aroma is doughy with some slight lemon essence and cloves. Flavor is decently light, with a sticky sweet base and lots of doughiness and overload of spices. Overall, not my favorite. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Bottle. Large fizzy white head with good retention, hazy light yellow body, spotty amounts of lacing, and fizzy, fast rising carbonation. The aroma was spicy, fruity, lightly malty, and earthy notes. The flavor was fruity, spicy, earthy and a dry finish. The mouthfeel was smooth and this is a light-medium bodied beer. An easy to drink beer, but not one I will drink again because I did not truly care for the flavor. bobaidan (370), Farmington, Connecticut, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 17, 2009 Pours light yellow with a huge head filling 90% of the glass. Aroma is odd with a lot of spice. Mouth feel is thin, but has a lot of carbonation. Flavor is sweet with a lot of spices I can’t quite identify. Unique and quite tasty. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 14, 2009 In the bomber bottle. Hazy gold with a thin white head. Doughy and buttery aroma. Slight saffron flavor with orange and anise. The body is not thick, but has enough mouth to not allow the spices to over power it. With the yeast mixed in this becomes fuller and IMO better. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 9, 2009 Sampled from Ron’s bomber - thanks Ron! This poured into an unusual cloudy look up top, clear on the bottom. Heavy wheat nose, with cloves. Palate is coriander and licorice. This was unusual, original and good. I’d try it again. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 4, 2009 Nice phallic label art! I wasn’t sure what to make of this beer. Is it trying to be a witbier? It is quite spicy with some ginger, coriander and citrus notes, but the malty sweetness comes over the top and kills it. I didn’t hate it, but I don’t think I’d go back for more.
