Aug 10, 2009 A Mes rate: bottle at the ever brilliant Chris O’s Pre GBBF Extravaganza.
My god. Sorry guys but I thought this was really bad. Lemon yellow with a thin white head. Stale vegetables and farrrrrr too spicy. I really can’t drink this without pulling a face. Very medcinal in the finish. Dumped.

Aug 6, 2009 Cloudy, rich orange-amber pour, minimal fizzy white head with some slight retention. Very strong spicy aroma, lots of coriander and ginger--reminiscent of a ginger ale, actually. Ginger is also quite prominent on the palate, along with noble hops and pepper. Long, gingery finish. Much fuller mouthfeel than I had been expecting and good, even carbonation. Held my interest. All in all a curious but quite pleasant beer, a bit dirty and garish perhaps but then again so is Coney Island...I also enjoyed the rather naughty label.

Aug 6, 2009 Chriso Shindig Aug 2009. Cloudy white. Mildly medicinal. Quite drinkable. OK. The phallic snake picture on the label is amusing.

Aug 2, 2009 At Chriso’s pre GBBF Shindig ’09. Pale hazy gold with a small white head. Startling spicy aroma and taste. Slight sourness, slightly phenolic. A little dryness. Odd, and to be frank, not very pleasant.

Aug 1, 2009 Bottled.Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is spices, some wheat, yeast, fruits and mild notes of earth. Flavour is lemon, spices, wheat and some slight earth. Not very exciting,.

Jul 20, 2009 Has a nice hazy yellow color. There’s yeast just floating everywhere in there. Smells of malts, yeast, lemon peels, cloves, and other spices. Taste is minty, with lemon, yeast, and malts. Aftertaste is actually nice and smooth. Not too bad of a brew.

Jul 17, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange body with a wispy white head. Pepper, pine, anise, and spicy aroma. Pepper y earth y spruce and tree bark with a spicy anise character. Twig and pine sap flavor, hmmm i kinda like it. Very different, which equals tons of points from me.

Jul 16, 2009 Brewed in the USA...... Courtesy of Woody, thanks again !!! Pours a hazy golden color with a medium foamy white head. Aroma of bananas, malts, lemons and crackers. Taste of spices, lemons, malts and cleaning supplies. The mouthfeel is creamy, medium in body and kind of unbalanced !! Not sure if i would ever drink this again.
