Coney Island Freaktoberfest

Brewed in the USA... Halloween bash 2009. Pours red in color with a small off pink head. Aroma of malts, spices and caramel. Taste of malts, earth, spices and fruit. Mouthfeel is medium in body with a malty / caramel finish. Pretty interesting brew !!!

On tap at Toronado. This bright red beer poured with a cute pink head and not much aroma. There is a weak malt flavor that is slightly sour. Not much else.

65 cl bottle, Fargo, ND, USA via Chicago. Pours a surprsing deep rose colour with a bright pink head. Malt aroma, some taste in the background like the flavor of pink icing. Warm hop bite, maybe some sour aftertaste. Certainly better than the average rating, not what I was expecting.

Had on Halloween ’09 @ Pony bar. Pours great dark brown w/ reddish hue, nontransparent. Taste is a bit off.. caramel, fig, sweet malts, some metal?

Bringing forth the brillance of a hallows eve with a freatoberfest seemed fit, so I endulged at the old forge, lanesborough, MA with delight with bro Pat. It was a great way to finalize the end of October, the best month ever.

Bottle. Pours red not unlike a kriek or framboise. Short, dense pink head. Aroma is toasted malt, spicy hops, caramel, and light citrus. Taste is citrus, caramel, light toffee, toasted and sweet malts and spicy hops. Body is medium with a prickly carbonation. Ends with more caramel, sweet malts, spicy hops and citrus fruit. Not bad beer but more a novelty.

Pour ruby red with a med pink head. Aroma of lite malt and fruit, Apperance is mis-leading, teast more like malt or a marzen. Over all good beer how ever not the best
