I received it as a Christmas gift and had put it away and downplayed it because of its cartoonish label. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a moderate white head that lasted through almost the entire glass and left partial lacing. Pleasant aroma of grassy hops and malt. The flavor is malt and a bit on the sweet side up front followed up with some grassy hops at the finish. Medium bodied and very quaffable. Good stuff! jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Nice deep hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish white head. Aroma of strong malt - seemingly rye? with some good hops and nice yeast thrown in the mix. Medium-bodied; Strong rye flavoured malty taste with some mild hops and a bit of nuts. Aftertaste shows more rye, alcohol, hops and a good alcohol overtone. Overall, a good spring/summery beer with the malt sticking out most. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from K&E Discount Beverage in New Paltz, New York on 19-April-2008. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 14, 2008 Bottle: Copper gold, light head and lacing. Nose of toasted caramel and toffee with some subtle grassy hop notes. The flavor is somewhat dry with a bitter overtone, a ripe melon hint in the finish. Nice chewy body and a creamy tail. Good flavorful vienna, I might almost peg this for an ale with all of the malt complexities. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 13, 2008 Pours a clear amber color with a medium lived whitish head. Smell is lightly grassy and pale maltiness. Taste is perhaps a bit hoppy for a lager, malty, medium bodied and a full flavored nice lager. Perhaps a touch lemony as well. Not offensive, is easy drinking, and pretty solid for what it is. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 12, 2008 Very clear copper amber body with a medium frothy off-white head. Sweet hoppy aroma with some caramel and sugar. Clean caramel and sugar flavor, some light hop flavor and a good bitter finish. Medium body with moderate carbonation. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Pours clear gold with a medium white head. Lager aroma of yeast, sugar, some hops. Watery, corny taste at first, but comes back later with more hops. A sugary cereal taste is prevalent throughout. Not great, but not bad. Ando (105), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Nice mix of malts and hops, not over hoped as I thought it would be. I enjoyed this Lager, smooth and mild on the pallet plus the Czech yeast I believe brings it all together. Very drinkable would have it again.
