Nice mix of malts and hops, not over hoped as I thought it would be. I enjoyed this Lager, smooth and mild on the pallet plus the Czech yeast I believe brings it all together. Very drinkable would have it again. beoir (51), st paul, Minnesota, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 23, 2008 Golden/orange pour...nice attractive and lingering head. The nose is fairly hoppy...citrus and pine, but also some caramel malt. The flavors are likewise hop forward...but balanced pretty damn well by the big caramel/toffee base. Very interesting version of a Vienna. SDalkoholic (1198), Chula Vista, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 16, 2008 22 oz bottle from North Park Liquor. Poured as a tea brown color with minimum amount of foam. The flavor and aroma are both boring and bland with only a taste of malt and watered down hops. Not good so I give this a thumbs down. grant (792), Colorado Springs, CO, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 11, 2008 Nice ruby tan color, minor but long-lasting head. Aroma of honey, oats, light lemon - kind of spritzy. Understated but surprisingly complex. Nicely balanced sweetness level in flavor, delicious doughy malts, light roastiness. Very well balanced bitterness. This beer is extremely put together and quaffable, yet there is plenty of complexity there to entertain the palate should one be interested. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 11, 2008 Bottle. Poured a small, fizzy off-whte head that mostly diminished, transparent, carbonation observed, fair amount of lacing, and a dark straw hue. Nose was hoppy, citrus, malty, and citrus. Ditto for the flavor along with some pine taste. Tingly mouthfeel and medium in body. I was pleasantly surprised that this was tastier than what I was anticipating for some unknown reason. Hoppier than I thought it would be and in a good way. Very quaffable and worthy of a try IMO. I would drink this again as it is a nice, easy drink. asedzie (457), San Francisco, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours copper with thin, off-white head. Nose has sharp floral, slightly metallic hops, some butterscotch. Aroma is mild overall. Flavor is soft bread, very lightly sweet, mild buttery notes. Prominent bitter citrus-like hop background. Citrus and slightly floral resiny bitterness and a very mild tartness linger on the palate. Fluffy, soft mouthfeel. Hoppy but not really enough malt depth.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 27, 2008 Bottle from State Line. Poured dark straw going toward copper, with off-white head. Aroma was grainy, cereally malt, some hopcitrus. The taste was crisp and clean, not offering anything out of the ordinary, but not offering anything offensive either.
