Bottle: Copper gold, light head and lacing. Nose of toasted caramel and toffee with some subtle grassy hop notes. The flavor is somewhat dry with a bitter overtone, a ripe melon hint in the finish. Nice chewy body and a creamy tail. Good flavorful vienna, I might almost peg this for an ale with all of the malt complexities.

Jul 13, 2008 Sweet aroma of malt and light, grassy hops. Amber with a large white head- decent lacing. Flavor is slight caramel, pine, hops. A very thin palate similar to killian’s. Overall ok.

Jul 13, 2008 The aroma is malty with grassy hops. The appearance is amber with a large head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin but OK. Overall it’s good but it’s very simple.

Jul 11, 2008 Clear copper color pour with a medium head that fades quickly. Aroma of light malt, grain and yeast. Similar clean flavor. Nice and crisp on the palate. Refreshing. A good lager.

Jul 9, 2008 Bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville. Copper pour with a three finger head. Retention and lacing are both lacking. Crisap aroma with notes of grain, citrus, grass, pepper. Sweet grassy taste with a citrus hop bite. Medium body.
