The color was a golden tone, with a modest, white, bubbly foam to the head, and light lacing. The nose had a light toastiness to it, with some fruit sweetness, a light touch of caramel, and some grassy hints. The flavor contributed some light, hop bitterness and pleasant, finishing dryness. A decent, quaffable brew. SDalkoholic (1188), Chula Vista, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Bottle from BevMo: Liquid is a crystal clear honey golden color with a thick fluffy topping of head. Aroma is faint and hard for me to pick up any scents other than what little hops are present. The flavor is bitter with a heavy serving of hops but also caries a strong malt profile which balances it out quite nice. There is some after taste of bread and perhaps mint? fonefan (11099), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 1, 2009 22 oz. bottle. Pours a lasting white head, with loads of lacing, over a clear, golden (SRM 7) body....nose of bread, biscuit, yeast, grass.....taste initially cereal, then slight toffee, with light fruit (peach), then lingering light bitterness.....mouth feel is medium, carbonation low. This is a very nice Pilsner type, and an unexpectedly good beer. GeneralGao (3051), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Bottle. Poured a clear medium orange color. The head was thin, white, and left some lace behind on the glass. Fruit dominated aroma that included the likes of apricot, melon, and orange. Light to medium bodied and delicately sweet up front. Dry and grainy at the end with noble and resiny hop flavors. Nice. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 12, 2009 Bottle. Small white head with good retention, spotty amounts of lacing, transparent yellow body, and slow-rising carbonation. The aroma was malty, fruity, some bready notes, and hoppy. The flavor was bready malt, hoppy, some citrus hops, and a semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel was fairly smooth and this is a medium bodied beer. Easy to drink for the style, but nothing to write home about. DuffMan (2751), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 7, 2009 Bottle. Pours a brassy gold with an average white chapeau. Cereal malt and grassy hop aroma. Sweet grainy malt palate, hints of cooked peaches, and a kiss of slightly resinous hops. Not bad, but not one I would pay premium prices for again. MullMan (1080), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 1, 2009 on cask at Stout NYC. Body is very cloudy dark golden yellow, with a thin creamy off-white head. Lots of yeast chunks. Aroma is sweet and bready malt like challah, some stone fruit, and armpit-like hops. Bready malt flavor is more like sourdough, fruit is more like the peach pit, and floral hops are too resiny. Finish like envelope glue.
