yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark Sep 22, 2009 22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry pinewood and peachy to apricot hoppy. Solid fruity and dry flavoured. Vague malt base. Distinct fruity hops flavoured bitterness into the finish. Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 22, 2009 Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt, peaches, and oranges. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of straw and lemongrass, as well as medium notes of malt and peaches, leading to a very bitter finish. Refreshing. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Sep 22, 2009 Hazy deep blond color; small head. It has a nice cereals aroma and flavor, a quite good malt flavor too, and reasonable body; and of course strong bitterness, with quite a lot of hop oils. Not exciting, but a solid brew. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 22, 2009 Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of TheCheeseMan. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Malt in the nose but also some perfumy hops. Medium body, sweet malts and an extremely harsh, raw and unrefined bitterness. Rather crude really. 220909 ChristianScheffel (4431), Odense, Denmark Sep 16, 2009 Golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of malt with a little honey sweet note. Malty flavour with a nice hop flavour and bitterness. DeadGirl (192), West Palm Beach, Florida, USA Sep 13, 2009 Updated: Oct 18, 2009Pour from the 22oz. bottle into a glass: I expected more from Coney Island. Resiny mouthfeel well into the bitter, slightly thick finish. Some citrus notes added, which is cool. Drinkabily: It’s basically a mediocre lager. I’d be happy with a 1/2 pint. Rebuy: It’s memorable... so I’ll think about it, but probably not. #119 on 13092009, DG. thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 3, 2009 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy with a frothy top white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a hazy typically carbonated yellow-orange colored body. The mild aroma was malty and sweet. The semi-thick crisp and clean mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of hops and was lagerish. A decent one that I would consider buying again. Nena (120), Seattle, Washington, USA Aug 29, 2009 Updated: Aug 30, 2009Golden with a rapidly falling white head. Has an aroma of pine, sweet malt, and a slight metallic scent. Has a grainy sweet malt taste initially with a powerfully bitter, resiny finish, that I initially would enjoy but didn’t like when it sat in my mouth for very long.
