Deep gold colored body with a tall, sticky white head. Caramel malt aroma. Light hops. The initial malt sweetness quickly gives way to a soft, yet firm hop bitterness that provides a soft, dry, hop finish.

bottle - Pours deep gold and clear with a one finger slow fading head that laces well. The aroma is of floral hops, some grainy malt, and a hint of citrus. The flavor is moderately hopped with enough pale malt to balance it out. The result is a good, quaffable beer.

22oz. bottle. Rather delicate aroma, showing just a bit of citrus, spice, floral sweetness and faint, grainy, pale malt. Clear light-medium golden color with a fine, white head that lasts. Flavor is very mildly sweet and malty to start, turning gently bitter about midpoint, and finishing with a blend of noble-tasting, citric, grassy hop and vaguely sweet malts, managing to remain semi-dry and mostly clean by the end. Very fine but active effervescence and a somewhat thick mouthfeel for a lager, body is medium-full. This really is a European Strong Lager style, exactly as indicated here on the site, and fairly refined (as these sorts of beers go).

Bomber. Pours hazy dark gold with a thin and frothy but surprisingly lacy white head. Floral/herbal hops with some nutty malt in the aroma. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Bits and pieces of bread, fruit, honey in the taste. Earth and lightly piny-crisp finish. Not too bad for a beer style that doesn’t seem to aspire to greatness.

From a bottle bought at Belmont Station in PDX--Poured a thick yellow body with a medium white head. Sweet malty, corny nose with sharp spicy bitter hops. Sticky, sweet, maize flavor. Finished sharp and mildly metallic.

22oz bottle from Casa de Oro Liquor in Spring Valley. Pours a clear medium golden color with a good sized off white head. Nose held faint hops, resin and wheat. Flavor was much of the same with a nice hop bitterness on the finish.

Bomber from Casa De Oro Liquor. Medium golden in color. Sweet malty aroma with a bit of hops. Bready with a decent hop profile. Slightly bitter grain finish with some hops. Good ESL.

22 oz. bottle that I received as a birthday gift. Pours a slightly hazed gold with a thin-moderate off-white head that lasted through the first third of the glass and left spotty lace. Light aroma of malt and slightly sweet. The flavor is weak malt, which is almost immediately washed over by moderately bitter citrus pith. Somewhat dry and bitter at the finish, lingering briefly beyond the swallow.
