Jul 26, 2008 Sean bought a bottle of this at the PP bottle shop. Yellow amber color. Big fluffy off-white head. Some caramels. Mild bitterness. Very easy to drink.

Oct 15, 2008 Bomber courtesy of SoLan. Pours a clear gold with 2 finger off-white head and spotty delicate lacing. Nose is sweet malt and floral hops. Taste is caramel malt with a blast of floral hops and ripe citrus. It finished out with a nice resin bite that lingers. Medium mouth feel. By far the best lager I’ve had – comes off more like an IPA. Oct 8, 2008 22oz bottle-Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a nice small tight white head. Aroma of hops, malt, and some grains. Taste of hops, malt, and a hint of citrus. This light to medium bodied brew is well balanced and finishes with a bitterness on the back end. Another tasty Coney Island beer.

Dec 14, 2008 Golden yellow with a medium white head, slowly fading. Aroma of citrus, toasted malt, cereal grains and bread. Taste of toasted malt, citrus and alcohol. Finish is semi bitter and a bit strange. Perhaps I am suppose to feel like I downed a sword. A steel hop lager? I would rather have a steel hopped ale, but hey it was not too bad, especially for the price as I found it on closeout. Hopefully the problem with rate beer not accepting apostrophes ends soon...

Jun 15, 2008 Crystal clear straw color with very little head. Very pils-like aroma with a lot of grassy Saaz hop aroma up front. The taste is a bit too bitter for the malt base and everything just seems a bit off-kilter. An interesting brew, but not really my thing.

Sep 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear orange with a thick foamy white head. Aroma of light fruits (some citrus, raspberry) and stale wheat. Flavor starts off a little shaky with lots of stale wheat, but then it gets a bit fruitier and citrusier with some light citrusy hops. Dry, wheaty finish. This beer has some nice flavor, but I’d like just a little more! Still, pretty tasty.

Jun 5, 2008 1st rate!! Grassy aromas hints of honey, with some yeast. Pours very light blonde with a thin white head. Grassy slightly piney hops, with hints of citrus balanced with bready malts with hints of honey. Very nice hop flavor and very smooth flavor!!
