Aug 30, 2008 pours a semi-hazy orange with a small off-white head, good lacing.
smell is malt, some grains, hint of corn, some citrus, a little caramel.
taste is thick, hoppy, slight grapefruit, malt in the back, touch of caramel, some citrus, touch of spice, nice bitter ending.
overall a very nice refreshing beer.

Sep 22, 2008 22oz bottle. Nice looking beer, dark gold with a nice white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Full hop flavor, real nice for a lager. Pretty good.

Oct 1, 2009 on cask at Stout NYC. Body is very cloudy dark golden yellow, with a thin creamy off-white head. Lots of yeast chunks. Aroma is sweet and bready malt like challah, some stone fruit, and armpit-like hops. Bready malt flavor is more like sourdough, fruit is more like the peach pit, and floral hops are too resiny. Finish like envelope glue.

Jan 30, 2009 Updated: Feb 1, 2009vegetable aroma and light color with white head this brew looks all lemony with again a white foamy head. much as i like the color it usually spells mediocre beer but this brew is named well and has a nice steel hop flavor. clean flavors and well bodied. light malt character refreshing and a hop heads quencher.

Jun 2, 2009 From the 22 ounce bottle. Pours gold with thin white head. Light aroma, just a little bit of hops. Bitter flavor from the hops, which not as much balance for the malt as I would have thought. Kind of boring overall though.

Jul 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus hops and sweet malt. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a mild to moderate amount of bitterness and a crisp finish. Good.

Sep 8, 2008 22oz bottle. Cool label. Hazy orange pour. Light grain is the most noticeable thing in the aroma along with a little hop spice. Flavor is spicy with citrus hops, just a touch of malt that makes a week attempt at balance and lastly what I would call a bubblegum flavor. It’s not bad, it’s just nothing I’ll go looking for. Dry finish on a medium body.
