Biscuity and herbal nose, light white pepper and a touch of alcohol. Fairly full body. An initial smack of alcohol mellows into a peppery, herbal bitterness on top of a strong bready flavor. Alcohol pops up again late. Pretty good. yespr (12407), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Aroma of hops, malt, and some grains. Taste of hops, malt, and a hint of citrus. This light to medium bodied brew is well balanced and finishes with a bitterness on the back end. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Aug 30, 2008 Aroma is a very faint citrus scent. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and a thin white head. Taste is rich, hoppy and bitter. Starting with a medium body it goes down smooth with a rich feel. Finish comes in malty then a mellow hop flavor with some citrus and a bold bitterness. After taste is more bitterness and sharp feel. This is a pretty good brew although it would be better if there was more hop flavor and a little less bitterness.
