Bomber courtesy of SoLan. Pours a clear gold with 2 finger off-white head and spotty delicate lacing. Nose is sweet malt and floral hops. Taste is caramel malt with a blast of floral hops and ripe citrus. It finished out with a nice resin bite that lingers. Medium mouth feel. By far the best lager I’ve had – comes off more like an IPA. Great beer - Thanks Alan!

Pours hazy amber with a thin white head. Aroma is very floral and hoppy, smels like pacific north west hops. Great flavour very floral and bitter. Creamy mouth feel. Really great beer. Drinks like an IPA.

20081208 Bomber from Spirits on Sunset. hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is light and fruity with crisp apple notes, just cut apples, not the juice or musty cider, fresh grape, light graininess, hay, celery tops. Body is medium to full with light, coating eff and a biting finishing astringency. Celery also in flavor, cut grass, apple skins, grassy hop burps. Distant, oceany brine. Long lingering hop bitterness on the back of the palate reminds of eating bitter greens. Unusual stuff but I like it.

Bomber from World of Beer. Poured amber color with an average frothy white head that was lasting and produced good lacing. Good moderate to heavy hoppy and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth sticky texture. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with with a moderate bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Very good brew.

Bottle from a NYC deli. This one is my favourite among their lagers. The foru hops have taken the edge of the malt, making an imperial pilsener with fruit and pineyness combining to make a depply refreshing beer. There is a mellow Bohemian malt and yeast side to the finish.

Light grainy coriander aroma. Hazy golden color with a small airy head. Light malt start quickly developing a strong hop bitterness that lasts long into the finish. I would put this in the American imperial pilsner class.
