| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Bottle. Poured a clear medium orange color. The head was thin, white, and left some lace behind on the glass. Fruit dominated aroma that included the likes of apricot, melon, and orange. Light to medium bodied and delicately sweet up front. Dry and grainy at the end with noble and resiny hop flavors. Nice. patrick767 (2058), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2008 bottle - Pours deep gold and clear with a one finger slow fading head that laces well. The aroma is of floral hops, some grainy malt, and a hint of citrus. The flavor is moderately hopped with enough pale malt to balance it out. The result is a good, quaffable beer. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 4, 2009 22oz bomber. Pours a tawdry gold with little to no head, minimal lacing. Nose is surprisingly malty, with strong bread and cereal notes and a resiny, piney hop quality normally associated with IPAs. Mouthfeel is full and prickly, with strong ctiric hop flavors and a long powerful tannic bitterness. Really the only clue this is a lager is the clean finish, as the beer in all other aspects doesn’t much fit the definition of standard strong lager. Taken on its own merit, however, I found it relatively enjoyable.
