Aroma was smooth and clean; slightly toasted malt, herbs, grass wint some citrus notes in the end. Flavor reminded me of an extra strong pils. Sweet malt gives way to a hoppy finish; hops were on the herbal side/dry hopping. Palate had a hint of creaminess; nice and smooth. Solid and enjoyable beer. graham515 (435), Houston, Texas, USA

Aroma is very hoppy from the dry hop additions. Flavor is hoppy but with very little bitterness to it. Mostly floral tastes. Mouthfeel is exceptionally smooth hapjydeuce (774), Del Mar, California, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 28, 2009 Quite strong hop aroma, like a DIPA. Pretty light in colour, a bit of red and cloudy. Some lacing. Flavour is completely dominated by hops, a bit of malt in there. Bitter hops aftertaste as with anything approaching this much hoppiness. A pretty nice hop lager, but why? Make it a DIPA and up the % to match the flavour. I probably wouldn’t get this again for that reason. Aubrey (2781), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 9, 2008 Clear and golden with a white head. Sticky-sweet malts were filled with caramel, honey and graham cracker. Happily, the carbonation was strong enough to cleave off some of that sweetness. Unfortunately, hop bitterness wasn’t bold enough to finish the job. Still, flowery hops were noticeable and pleasant. And a faint rock candy-like sweetness added depth to the overall profile. Aftertaste was a bit stark and plant-like, but otherwise, it’s a pretty decent beer. fiulijn (7500), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2009 Hazy deep blond color; small head. It has a nice cereals aroma and flavor, a quite good malt flavor too, and reasonable body; and of course strong bitterness, with quite a lot of hop oils. Not exciting, but a solid brew. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Bottle and served in standard pint glass: Clean golden hue with a nice frothy head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of pale grains and slight toffee, herbal hops, some pear and grapefruit ester, and a hint of DMS. The taste is rather straight forward with mild bitters balanced by mild pale malts and a dash of sweetness. Nice hop spice character about the edges and finish which does add a level of depth to the palate and better than most of the genre. The mouth feel is also better than most, medium-bodied and carbonated. You cold do a lot worse than this beer, all in all it worked for a high end lager. Bockyhorsey (2556), Mesa, Arizona, USA
