Twas looking for low alcohol refreshment, and was not disappointed. Recommended by my lad from Liverpool. I found this to have some of the standard british low-carbonated, slightly creamy texture I am used to for their bitters. Now I miss england and a chance to get one "pulled" from the tap. This beer doesn’t wow, but goes down well.

Guess I shouldn’t expect an incredibly deep or complex beer. This one was very citrusy on first impression. The bitterness and slight sourness are very apparent. I’ll give it a good bitter I’m just not used to the english version of the pale ale so I’m not very into it. Just personal preference.

A good one - pours a bright clear copper, small head, good carbonation. Well balanced, hoppy aroma, smooth malt, nice bite on the finish, crisp and overall a very decent bitter.

I brought this one with me back from Scotland 05. It’s very warm amber with a moderate head. The aroma has nice notes of aroma hops and caramel. The flavour has lots of fruits, light citrus and caramel. The finish is nice and bitter.

Bottle - Orangish color, light thin head. Fruit, citrus, hoppy nose. Malty sweet, some spice and hops flavor. A decent bitter. I’d try this with chinese food.

Bottle. An o.k. bitter - nothing over the top but not bad still. Not exceptional in any way. Very natural, light and a bit citrusy. Bright gold in color with a fair amount of carbonation - minimal head. Easy to drink - easy to forget.
