A bit acidic and barnyardish hops in aroma. Flavour is harsh hayish hoppy. Also some apricot and other fruits. Not too good, felt unbalanced. TBone (6790), Pori, Finland

Copper brown color, small white head. Rubbery malty aroma, grassy-rubbery hoppyness. Kind of unbalanced bitter. Anyway bitterness carries this one till the aftertaste. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 25, 2006 I have to agree with the Pickled PigFoot mine had a great deal of carbonation, nice amber color, small white head that faded quickly leaving little behind. The aroma was malty with a nice hop showing and maybe a little citrusy sweetness. The flavor was nicely malty with a sligth sweet side and a good citrusy hop taste that kind of linger s abit but not in an over powering way that gets in the way.It actually goes down pretty easy and other then the big carbonation in the beginning which slowed things a bit ,but later got very easy to drink.Over all the brew is worth trying again, and IMO much better then there Elf collection which i think makes a better bottle art collection then a brew collection. davegore (202), liverpool, Merseyside, England

Amber coloured beer, with small white head, aroma’s are slightly sweet and fruit is noticeable. The aroma has good hop notes: oranges and pine. The taste again has a good dose of orange flavours from the hops. A very well brewed tasty beer. It does appear that beers brewed with Challenger are right up my street!
